Class One have had a very busy half term. We have been developing our musical talents and have seen the formation of new bands and have had some solo artists emerge!
We were most excited to see signs of Spring with the daffodils poking their heads out of the soil and some newts emerging from their sleep.
In P.E. we have all been brave and have climbed to new heights. We have also been learning to support each other and to help when a friend is scared or stuck!
This second half of term Class 1 had an exciting few days learning about Vikings. They were particularly interested in Viking Long boats and used what they had learnt to paint them, build them out of large and small blocks as well as out of K'nex.
They also had a go at making a Viking helmet out of construction straws. During all of these activities they worked in teams and used fantastic communication skills to build one Longboat as a team.
