Our final full day at Cuffley has been equally fun and busy.
We spent the morning building shelters in the wood and taking part in archery.
Before lunch the children completed some 'woodland' themed maths investigations.
This afternoon has been spent tree climbing and playing rounders followed by a water fight using origami water bombs.
Tonight we are enjoying the last of the cake and hot chocolate - and roasting marshmallows as a last night treat!
Another busy day at camp!
We spent the morning looking at Hornbeam trees -sketching and climbing them.
Then the children split into groups to play rounders or climb trees.
Then we spent the afternoon making fires and completing a crate stacking activity.
Looking forward to some hot chocolate and a story around the fire this evening.
Another sunny day in Cuffley.
After breakfast the children had a chance to practise their lines and songs for the ks2 production.
The other activities today have included mountain bikes, balancing stone art work inspired by Mike Grab's gravity glue, woodland game making and postcard writing.
We have also painted crosses on stones for our reflective area.
Looking forward to more cake and hot chocolate round the camp fire.
All arrived safely, busy first day as usual.
Settled in cabins and put up banners.
Had a mini tour and lunch.
Then worked in small groups to complete the scavenger hunt.
They then worked in teams to complete the problem solving tasks.
Next time for juice and cake.
They then made handles for their mugs using parachute cord and are now writing diaries and looking forward to their evening meal and sitting round the camp fire.
