Friends of Long Marston School
We are a group of parents and teachers who arrange fun activities for the children and parents alike and in the process, hopefully, make some money to buy "extras" for the school.
Events we have organised include our annual quiz night for parents in the spring, a summer BBQ for families and our Christmas Fair in November. Other things include Pamper Nights, Beetle Drives, Children's discos, Photoshoots, Pampered Chef, Storytelling and even Ferret Racing. We also provide refreshments at key school events and hold cake sales for each class.
In recent years we have bought a suite of laptops and a printer, new furniture to update the classrooms, raised money to keep the school rabbit, refreshed sports equipment and paid for an additional visit or visitor for each class in the Jubilee year and much more!
We have a lot of fun and are very lucky to have such a dedicated committee.
If you would like to join us, you would be most welcome. We usually meet about twice a term and hold our AGM in January. If you would like to help but can't come to committee meetings we would be very happy to put you on our "helping hands" list.
