Autumn 2021

We have been learning about European art and artists. In one of our lessons we pretended we were Leonardo Da Vinci, painting the Sistene Chapel ceiling. We taped paper under our tables then painted upside down!

 

Parents came into school and joined in with a lesson about artist and sculptor Alberto Giacometti. We modelled human figures out of foil, in the style of Giacometti.

Class 3 have been learning about the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons.

We practised our shading skills on dragon's heads which were on Viking longships.

 

We made jewellery in the style of the Anglo-Saxons
