Spring 2022
Class 4 have been doing lots of drama this half term. They acted out the story of The Dragon Slayer in the lovely sunshine. They have also had an opportunity to work with K'Nex in the K'Nex Challenge that took place which they thoroughly enjoyed.
In Class 4, we have been busy and managed to fit a lot into a short half term!
We have been studying electricity in Science and investigated building circuits that use a switch to turn a buzzer on and off.
We have been exploring Prehistoric Britain in our Topic lessons, covering many thousands of years in just a few weeks. We climbed into our caves to create some Stone Age-style cave art, using chalk, charcoal and natural coloured pastel crayons.
In Design + Technology, we explored different marble runs and noted which structures were the most secure and stable. We are then using this knowledge to create our own marble runs from junk materials, beginning with building bridges.
In Literacy, we wrote 'For' and 'Against' arguments for a debate and had a jury to cast the deciding vote. We have also been looking at poetry and written some Odes to our favourite foods.
